Mother-Daughter Sing for Concert Choir: Plan to join the Concert Choir for rehearsal on Saturday, April 1 at 11:30 a.m. Please bring your copy of "Where You Walk". We are going to perform it from memory, so try to spend a little time with it! We will also work on "Climb Every Mountain."

The Concert Choir will be singing for the Tennessee Music Educators Conference in Nashville at the Convention Center on Friday, March 31. Please meet at FBC at 8:30 a.m. to depart. We will return by 8:00 p.m. The girls will need to bring money for lunch at the Opry Mills Food Court. (A snack will be provided for the return trip.) Prior to their participation in the conference, the girls will have the opportunity to hear a concert by the Tennessee Tech University Chorale. For travel, the girls must wear uniform khaki pants, red CGC polo, and white tennis shoes. For the performance, the girls will need to bring their black concert attire-- formal dress, (pressed and securely on a hanger) black hose, and black shoes. Each girl must bring her folder as well! Parents need to return signed permission letter.

Concert Choir will rehearse on Saturday, April 1, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. (First Saturday of the month!)

The Chattanooga Girls Choir will be presenting a concert Sunday, May 7, 3:00 p.m. at the St. Andrews Center. Call time is 2 p.m.--formal concert attire.

The Parents Board Meeting will be held on Monday, April 10, 5:30 p.m. next month.

Attention: Tuition should be paid in full by April 15. If tuition is not paid by this date, we will have to ask your daughter to not participate in rehearsals or events until this is handled in full.

Volunteer Opportunities The following opportunities are available and are easy ways to fulfill the time needed. Call the office or stop by the tables during rehearsal on Mondays to sign up for any of these activities. You will then be contacted by the committee chair or the choir office to arrange a time.

  • Stage help for the spring concert
  • Help with risers for the spring concert
  • Painting and general clean-up of the new choir office space. Tentative paint dates are Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8.
  • Help packing and moving boxes and office furniture for the office move.
  • Make phone calls for auditions

Bella Voce
The Bella Voce Choir has been invited to participate in a Culture Fair at GPS on Tuesday evening, April 18. More information will follow.

Save the date! The Tour Choir will sponsor a dinner at the Pastaria on Signal Mountain on Sunday, April 23. There will be two seating times--5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $15. This includes dinner and entertainment.

First Baptist Church will be issuing each girl a card today which will allow her access to the building. Lost cards will be $5.00 each.
