Concert Choir will rehearse this Saturday, March 4, 10 a.m. - noon. Mothers of Concert Choir members will rehearse from 11:30 - noon.

The Parents Board will meet next Monday, March 6 at 5:30 p.m.

From Our Director
Bella Voce and Jubilate will be singing with the Chattanooga Boys Choir in a "Mozart" concert program, Friday, March 10. The call time for the choristers is 6:30 p.m. at Brainerd United Methodist Church. There is a pre-concert lecture on the life and music of W. A. Mozart by Jonathan McNair (UTC music theory professor) beginning at 6:30 as well. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

The Boys Choir/Girls Choir combined rehearsal for this concert will be on Monday night, March 6 at Baylor School. The girls will rehearse at First Baptist Church as usual and then parents please plan to pick up your daughter(s) at 6:15 p.m. and travel to Baylor to rehearse with the Boys Choir and the Baylor String Orchestra from 6:45 - 7:15 p.m.

Directions: From downtown Chattanooga, get on US 27 at 4th street ramp, go over river and get off at Signal Mountain Road exit. Take a left at the third traffic light. This is the entrance to the campus. You will pass a guard's shack then loop around Baylor. (All buildings are on the outside of the loop.) About 2/3 way through you will pass the Ireland Studio Center and the Roddy Performing Arts Center. The Music Building is the next building.

Attire for the concert will be black concert dress, etc.

Auditions Begin March 4
Chattanooga Girls Choir auditions will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 4. ALL returning choir members must audition each year. Sign up early to get the best times. Concert Choir, you will be there to rehearse anyway, so go ahead and sign up for an audition so you don't have to make a special trip in for it. Audition information and sign-up sheets are in the Fellowship Hall at the tables.

Girls from Chattanooga and the surrounding areas will be auditioning for the upcoming year. If you have a friend who loves to sing, bring her with you!

Fundraising Opportunities-Cecilia Treece
Be sure to shop the last day of our yard sale today. We are having a half price sale on lots of items!

We will be offering store front candy sales again. Tentative dates are Saturday, March 18 and 25. Stop by Cecilia's table to sign up today.

If you would like to take candy bars to sell, pick them up today. If you have taken candy bars to sell, please turn the money in as soon as possible.

Volunteer Opportunities
We are in need of several people to act as audition monitors on Saturday, March 4 beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at about 2 p.m. This would involve checking in girls who come to audition, giving them a registration form to fill out and a handbook. You would then send them to the appropriate room for the audition. This is an easy way to earn your hours.

We are also in need of several people who can help make phone calls to the parents of the girls that the area teachers have recommended for an audition. The best way to do this is to come into the choir office (suite 612, Maclellan Building, next door to the Tivoli Theatre). It is best to keep the scheduling lists in the office so we can schedule auditions as we receive phone calls for auditions.

After many years in the Maclellan Building, the choir office is moving. We will be in need of men with trucks! (Or strong women with trucks.) This will be easy work if we get several volunteers. If you can help with this endeavor, please stop by the tables tonight or call the choir office.

We are in the final months of this years choir. If you still need to work all or part of your volunteer hours, don't put it off til the last minute. Remember each family is required to put in four volunteer hours this year. If you choose not to work volunteer hours, you will be charged $25 for each hour.

SENIORS!!!
