From Our Director, LuAnn Holden The Singing Girls of Texas will be presenting a concert at The First Baptist Church, downtown Chattanooga on Friday, January 20 at 7:00 pm. The concert will include a variety of literature ranging from the classics, spirituals, and patriotic celebrations, to a medley of Broadway music. You will not want to miss this new and very exciting ensemble. The concert is free and open to the public. The Singing Girls of Texas is an ensemble consisting of girls from grades 8 through 12 at the Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts. They are creating a reputation across Texas and the United States with their outstanding vocal blend, variety of repertoire, passion for music, and excellent presentation. Chattanooga Girls Choir office at 266-9422 to volunteer to host girls or adults. Also needed are volunteers to serve dinner and distribute programs.
