From
Our Director
Wow!
There have been a lot of community performances by all of the choirs of
the Chattanooga Girls Choir organization this past week and continuing
into this week.
Cantilena
has performed the past two Monday evenings for area assisted living facilities.
The residents love these musical visits by our 4th and 5th graders.
Thank
you Cantilena and Bella Voce for your noontime performance at the downtown
Chattanooga Library on Friday!
Concert
Choir and Bella VoceI hope you enjoyed the "Enchanted Lights"
of Rock City after you performed a lovely concert on Friday night. I know
you especially enjoyed performing "Jingle Bells" with the Rock
City character as your conductor! And parents, as always, thank you so
much for bringing your daughter(s) to rehearsals and performances and
supporting their musical developmentwhat a wonderful gift to your
child!
Concert

Attention
Parents!
Dress rehearsal and Winter Concert are this Thursday and Friday night.
The girls will be working hard and possibly standing for long periods
under the hot lights at the Tivoli. Please make sure they eat something
before arriving both nights. We know that your schedules are busy and
a full meal may not be possible but please have them eat a healthy snack
before arriving. Peanut butter and crackers or fruit are two easy ideas
that will give them energy. Do not let them fill up on sugary snacks.
The girls are welcome and encouraged to bring bottled water both nights
to enjoy during their breaks.
