A Note from our Director
Concert Choir: Thank you for a great rehearsal on Saturday! You were very focused and worked diligently and effectively in preparing repertoire for our Winter Concert.
Girls, when you are absent, you are greatly missed! Please keep in mind that you have made a commitment to the Chattanooga Girls Choir--a commitment to rehearsals and performances and a commitment to supporting the organization with your time and energy. When you are absent, it not only effects your preparedness for the next rehearsal or performance, it effects the sound of the section in which you sing and the balance of the sections for the whole choir. Your presence is so important to the success of the choir. Please remember that you are NEEDED!
When arriving for rehearsal, please remember that you should arrive at the First Baptist Church 10-15 minutes prior to the time the rehearsal is scheduled to begin. This will allow time for you to use the restroom and get water before going to your rehearsal room. (This should also give a little time to chat with friends!)

Volunteer Hours and Committees
Committees are forming and volunteers are getting ready for the demands that this year will bring. Heads of committees have been given lists of their volunteers. We are asking that all committees meet next Monday, October 10 at 5:30 p.m. to get acquainted and plan the work that each committee will be responsible for. We will meet in the McEwen Chapel at First Baptist Church. If you have not yet signed to be on a committee or cannot remember which committee you are on please call the choir office. Remember, each family is responsible for four volunteer hours. A special thank you goes out to Jim and Tonya Rogers who put in their volunteer hours last week by manning a booth for the CFC Fair at the Remote Encoding Center of the post office.
To All Singers:
Please help us observe the housekeeping rules at First Baptist Church. There is absolutely no food or drink on any carpeted areas in the church. If you have a snack you should have it in the area near the coke and snack machines on the first floor.
