A Note From Our Director - LuAnn Holden
Dear Parents,
Thank you for your commitment and involvement in the Chattanooga Girls Choir. It is so important for every singer to be present for the scheduled rehearsals. Each singer brings to the group her unique talents and abilities and each singer is an important component of the whole. Every girl contributes to the success of the group and facilitates an aspect of cooperative learning that cannot occur in individual practice. If one person is absent, it affects the entire choir not only in learning the repertoire, but instruction in tone production, ensemble blend and balance, and the camaraderie of the group. So I sincerely request that absences from rehearsals on occur in the case of an emergency or severe illness.

Just A Couple of Reminders
Parents - The first tuition installment is due September 1. It is important to the choir that payments be made in a timely manner. You may stop by the table on Monday evening or send a payment in to thechoir office.

Singers - Remember that you may check you notebook out if you would like to take it home. Just check with your chaperone or choir director.
Please be in your seat with music folders in hand at the designated times for each rehearsal.

Italy Tour - Tarbell Patten

NOTE: The deadline for tour applications and the $250 deposit is Monday, September 13th. Tarbell Patten, Tour Director, will be handing materials out at rehearsal today, and they will be posted on the web site.

Fundraising - Cecelia Treece
Our fall flower bulb fundraiser kicks off today! Brochures will be distributed at rehearsal. For this fundraiser money needs to be collected when the order is placed. All orders and money must be turned in by September 20.

Incentives will be given for every 10 packs of bulbs that each girl sells. The girls will be given details today about the grand prize the top seller will get.
