Congratulations to the Concert Choir! Our girls placed third in the Women's Class at the Smoky Mountain Music Festival which was held this weekend. They competed with both middle schools and high schools. Our reports are that the trip was a big success. We are proud of our Concert Choir and Director, Joan Tonkinson.

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE FOR GRACE MOORE AND CHATTANOOGA BALLET
Please don’t forget the soon to be here rehearsals with the Chattanooga Ballet. These are full rehearsals which have been scheduled as carefully as possible to not waste time. You should attend. Your work schedule is not a reasonable excuse for missing these rehearsals!

• Monday, May 3 NO REHEARSAL
• Tuesday, May 4 - 4:30-7:30 p.m. Act II run, UTC Fine Arts Center (Palmetto and Oak Sts., UTC campus)
• Wednesday, May 5 NO REHEARSAL
• Thursday, May 6 - Dress Rehearsal, Call Time: 6:15, 6:45 - 8:00 P.m. Act II run. This is a DRESS REHEARSAL IN CONCERT ATTIRE!
• Friday and Saturday, May 7 and 8 Performances. 7:30 p.m. Call Time, 8:00 p.m. Show, 9-10 p.m. Act II.

THE CHATTANOOGA BALLET AND THE GRACE MOORE SINGERS
The Grace Moore Singers will present a program with the Chattanooga Ballet on Friday and Saturday, May 7 and 8 at the UTC Fine Arts Center beginning at 8:00 p.m.. The girls will be performing "Adiemus" by Karl Jenkins. This new age style work will be the focal point of the second act. Tickets can be purchased through the UTC Box Office.

ATTENTION PARENTS
There will be an important Parent’s Meeting May 13, the night of dress rehearsal, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in the Chapel. During this meeting we will vote on the slate of officers for the upcoming year. All parents should plan to attend.

ATTENTION SINGERS
Monday, May 10 is the last rehearsal date. On this date we will turn in all music, shirts and any monies still owed to the choir. Start looking through your closets now for any stray polos, red and blue, that belong to the CGC. All accounts must be paid in full. The CGC cannot pay its bills if you do not pay yours.

REMEMBER THIS IMPORTANT CHANGE IN REHEARSAL
On next Monday, May 10, Cantilena and Concordia Choirs need to plan on staying a half hour longer (4:30 – 6:15) and Concert and Grace Moore need to arrive one half hour early (5:30 – 7:15). The combined choirs will meet in the Chapel from 5:30 – 6:15.
