LOCK-IN REPORT:
Approximately forty girls showed up and had a great time at the Friday night lock-in. Thanks to all who contributed to the success of this event.
Mark your calendars for these upcoming events:
Saturday, February 7 - Concert and Grace Moore rehearsal 10 a.m. - noon. Parents Board Meeting 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Tuesday, February 10. - St. Olaf Choir Concert at First Baptist Church. Tickets are still available for the concert. Any singer who can should attend as this is one of the premiere choirs in the United States. You must pre-pay for tickets at the desk during rehearsal or purchase them by phone or in person at First Baptist Church (265-2577). For every 5 student tickets you can have one adult chaperone ticket for free!
We are still in need of a couple of host families for two college students the night of February 10. They must have their own beds, no futons, floors or couches.
Tuesday, February 10. - Grace Moore Workshop time with Dr. Armstrong, The Grace Moore Singers will have the opportunity to work with Dr. Anton Armstrong on February 10. The schedule is as follows:
- 3:30-4:30 - Open rehearsal with the choir in the Sanctuary
- 4:30 - All singers should meet me in the Sanctuary lobby. We will warm-up and sing for Dr. Armstrong at 4:50. You will be finished by 5:30. Those who sing can go together to supper and return for the concert.
Sunday, February 15, Valentine's Concert
Grace Moore performance at the Chattanooga Music Club. Meet at Grace Episcopal Church, corner of Brainerd Road and Belvoir Avenue at 2:15. Enter through the courtyard. This is a full dress concert, so please be sure your black dress is properly laundered and neat. Program begins at 3:30 and you will be finished by 4:30. Parents and guests are welcome. The repertoire is as follows:

Monday, February 16 - President's Day. No rehearsal except for Grace Moore Singers. They will rehearse at the regular time, 5:45 - 7:15 p.m.
May 3-8, Grace Moore and Chattanooga Ballet Rehearsal Schedule
Here is the production week schedule for our rehearsals with the ballet. Please clear your calendar as indicated. You will have one additional Saturday rehearsal (PROBABLY April 3 after our regular first Saturday rehearsal). All rehearsals are at Roland Hayes Auditorium at UTC. We are only in Act II and will rehearse only as below.
- Monday, May 3: 4:30 - 8:00 p.m., Act II rehearsal
- Tuesday, May 4: 5:45 - 8:00 p.m., Act II run
- Wednesday, May 5, NO rehearsal
- Thursday, May 6: Dress Rehearsal 5:45
- Tuesday, May 4: 5:45 - 8:00 p.m., Act II run
