SCHEDULE:
  8:30 am Breakfast in the hotel dining room.
  9:30 am Take a cruise along the Costa Brava coastline.
  Visit Tossa de Mar, a lovely seaside town to see the Castle and old city walls.
  Also stop in beautiful Lloret de Mar, to see the Moorish style cathedral and historic town center.
  A boxed lunch will be provided this day. In the late afternoon return to Calella.
  3:45 pm Walk to the Carpa Playa de Calella for the final concert series.
  5:30 pm The CGC choir will perform a final concert.
  8:00 pm Dinner in the hotel dining room.
  9:00 pm SKIT NIGHT
10:30 pm Walk to the Carpa Playa de Calella for the Closing festivities.
    ? pm Return to the hotel to pack.

Today was our last day in Spain. After breakfast at the hotel we left for a cruise along the Costa Brava coastline. The boat stopped at cities all over the coast but we stopped at Lloret de Mar and Tossa de Mar.

The first stop was Lloret de Mar. There we visited a beautifully restored church [probably Esglesia Paroquia de Sant Romà] and were lucky enough to be able to sing a few songs there. Next we were free to shop, eat, and look around the city. For most of us it meant going to Burger King.

Tossa de Mar was the next stop. In the city there is an incredible castle with walls around the city. We toured all around and got some amazing pictures of the view from the castle. We left Tossa de Mar on a motorcoach to return to Calella to pack and for dinner.

Then at 8:00 we had skit night, a tradition on all tours. Rachel, Leah, Meg, and Alex ran it this year. They highlighted great moments from the trip, like getting sunburned, bird poop, flamenco dancing, and a certain waiter being seranaded. And all the girls received awards.

Soon after skit night we left for the festival for one last concert. We sang Go Where I Send Thee and Edelweiss. We were very well received. Most said we were the best at the festival. Along with other participating groups at the festival there was a couple from our hotel there to see us perform. I think we all appreciated them being there to support us. It is now 2:15 am and we are about to leave for the coach to go the airport.
