Ready to head to Spain!

Day 1: Leave Chattanooga and fly to Europe
Friday, June 12, 2009

SCHEDULE:
12:15am   Leave First Baptist and travel to Atlanta by bus.
  6:05pm   Depart Atlanta on Lufthansa #445 bound for Frankfurt.
  9:05am Sat. (3:05am Chattanooga time)   Arrive in Frankfurt.

The 2009 Tour Choir gathered at First Baptist Church on a beautiful sunny day. (Notice the totes donated to the choir by the nice folks at First Tennessee Bank!) After goodbyes and hugs with their families, the girls boarded the bus at around noon for the two-hour drive to Atlanta.

We received word that the trip to Atlanta was pleasant and uneventful. Everyone made it through check-in without a problem, and they were waiting to board the plane to Frankfurt, Germany. There they will catch their flight to Barcelona, Spain.

Saturday morning note: They made it safely in Barcelona and are on the way to Calella!
