(Continued from June 11...)
We waited yet again to get off the plane in Dublin, but at last we were in Ireland! We actually made it through the passport control lines without a hitch. (Hallelujah!) After searching for the next step of our trip, Aer Lingus officials told us that they had a bus waiting to take us directly to Galway. Yahoo! They gave us vouchers for lunch, found our luggage, and finally got us on our way. We had originally been scheduled to arrive in Shannon at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, but it was about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday when we finally left Dublin airport. But we finally made it to our hotel in Galway!
Your girls handled all of this extremely well. Everyone cooperated despite the setbacks and we were very proud of all of them for holding up through a difficult day and a half.
LuAnn and the girls wait--again!--in Dublin.
What's that you have there, Katy?.
At last on the way to Galway!
Looking out the window: Are those the ruins of a castle?
Dinner at the hotel in Galway.
The view of Galway and the bay from the hotel room.
An interest sculpture in Galway.
Even here you can count on Domino's speedy delivery!
