NOTE: The arrival time in Atlanta is earlier than the itinerary handed out several months ago. (See June 20 below.)
JUST HEARD THAT ALL MADE IT THROUGH CUSTOMS IN NEW YORK OK.
THE PLANE LEFT NEW YORK AT 5:23 (LATE) AND HAS NOW LANDED IN ATLANTA (EARLY! AT 7:10 PM).
NEW UPDATE: THEY'RE ON THE BUS AND ON THEIR WAY HOME! EVEN BETTER, EVERYONE HAS THEIR LUGGAGE.
Girls will call to confirm Chattanooga arrival time after they get on bus in Atlanta.
NEW estimate arrival at First Baptist: 10:30-10:45 pm (but could be as late as 11:00 pm, depending on traffic)

Friends and family, thank you for following us on our summer tour!
We posted a daily journal with photos as we toured Ireland (see note at bottom of page), and we will continue to update for several weeks after our return.

ITINERARY: [Note: subject to change]
Mon., June 11 : Leave Chattanooga by bus from First Baptist Church.
Travel by bus to Atlanta airport for 2:10 pm flight to JFK Airport in New York;
planned to connect to a 6:45 pm overnight flight to Shannon, Ireland, but READ JOURNAL for update!
Tue., June 12 : Scheduled to arrive in Shannon at 6:00 am and travel by bus to Galway. [Actually had to fly into Dublin much later and take bus to Galway.]
Check into hotel, then go on short walking tour of Galway.
Wed., June 13 : Following breakfast, depart for a tour of Connemara, one of Ireland's most beautiful and dramatic regions. 
Travel by bus through the town of Oughterard to Kylemore Abbey for an Afternoon Concert in the Gothic Church there.
Return to Galway for dinner and overnight.
Thu., June 14 : Depart Galway in the morning for a visit to Aillwee Cave and the dramatic Cliffs of Moher.
Continue to Limerick and check into hotel.
Fri., June 15 : Sightsee on the beautiful Dingle Peninsula, traveling as far as Slea Head.
Free time in Dingle for shopping and personal sightseeing before returning to Limerick
for an Evening Concert with the Limerick Youth Choir.
Sat., June 16 : After breakfast, depart for County Cork.
Upon arrival at the outskirts of the city of Cork, visit Blarney Castle and kiss the Blarney Stone.
Check into hotel in Youghal.
Evening Benefit Performance with the Templebreedy Children's Choir at the Holy Trinity Church in Crosshaven.
Sun., June 17 : Morning Sunday Church Service Concert at Novohal Parish Church.
Sightseeing tour of Cork, Ireland's third largest city, surrounded by rolling hills and picturesque country.
Mon., June 18 :

Morning departure to Waterford, world renowned as the home of an exquisite glass industry.
After visiting crystal factory, take bus to Dublin, the capital of the Republic of Ireland. Upon hotel check-in in nearby city of Bray, take an orientation tour of Dublin. Dinner at hotel in Bray.

Tue., June 19 : Sightseeing tour after breakfast, possibly to include the Trinity College (founded in the 16th century), the Dublin Castle, St. Patrick's Cathedral, and Phoenix Park.
Afternoon Concert with St. Patrick's Girls Choir, followed by reception.
Skit night tonight! (A Girls Choir tradition!)
Wed., June 20 : SLÁN LEAT, Ireland! ("GOODBYE!")
Depart for Dublin Airport for a 10:30 am flight back to JFK Airport, connecting to Atlanta flight and arriving the same day at 7:19 pm.
Get luggage in Atlanta and then board bus for Chattanooga.
Estimated arrival time at First Baptist Church: 10:15-11:00pm.
